How many children can bounce at one time?
- Ages 2 to 8 --- 8 to 10 Children (depending on size)
- Ages 9 to 12 --- 6 or 7 Children
- Ages 13 - 16 --- 4 to 6 Children (No more than 150lbs. per person)
Based on a 15' X 15' Inflatable Bouncer.
Please keep in mind that compatible sized children MUST play on the unit at the same time, REGARDLESS of age. Different sized children must not be mixed. Please remember, the above is a guideline only. It all depends on the size of the children and how active they are. We recommend giving each group of children 10-15 minutes per group.
How far in advance do I need to rent a bouncer?
- A.S.A.P., When you have confirmed a date for your party, we highly recommend that you reserve your
bouncer. Don't wait! There is nothing worse than getting your party organized, then finding out that we
don't have any bouncers available for your date. We book reservations as far as 1 year in advance. A $50 deposit and a signed rental agreement secures your inflatable bouncer rental.
How SAFE are Inflatable Bouncers?
- Bounce Houses are very safe, as long as all the rules are followed and common sense is used. Bumps
and bruises occasionally can be expected. However, most people have a misconception about bouncers... They are NOT baby sitters. Most injuries are caused by or happen to unsupervised children.
DO NOT LEAVE children unattended in a bouncer. We can offer staff attendants with a bouncer to
ensure safety precautions and bouncer monitoring.
What kind of area can the Bouncer be set up in?
- They can be set up on a somewhat level grassy area, clear of sticks, stones, mud, stumps, roots, pet
waste, etc... If you do have a sprinkler system please advise us prior to set up. The area to be clear
needs to be no more than 20' X 20'. We will need an electrical outlet within 80'.Also, if you're not sure what size your yard is, you can measure it or "walk it off" heel to toe in a man's shoe (it'll be about 1 foot per step) to approximate. If you can imagine two parked cars side by side in your set up area, most likely we can fit the unit of your choice in that area. Also, most 2 car driveways can accommodate most units. Don't forget your vertical clearance! You'll need an area free of low wires, about 16-17 feet high for most of our inflatables.
Are adults permitted in a Inflatable Bouncer?
- With older kids (teens) and adults, more serious injuries occur with longer recovery times. Bumps and
bruises can be expected in a Bouncer. Although adults will not harm the Bouncer, we do not allow adults to participate. If they do, they do so against the advice of Epic Services.
How does the set up and take down process work? (Without an Epic staff attendant present)
- We deliver the morning of your party. We will set it up and instruct you on how to turn it on. When you
are ready to BOUNCE, you turn it on. When you are all done for the day you turn it off. We will be there
either that evening or the next morning to pick it up.
What is your rainy day policy?
- Epic Services reserves the right to cancel a Bouncer reservation, with full refunds, should the weather prevent a safe and enjoyable day of bouncing. Bouncers are never to be utilized in thunder and lightning storms, heavy rains, snow, hail or wind gusts exceeding 25 mph. After a Bouncer is set up, there are no refunds.
What about rain?
Epic Services rain policy allows you to cancel your order up until three hours before your scheduled “event time" on the day of your party if it is raining at no charge. Please call at least three hours in advance and leave a message (which is automatically date/time stamped).Rain must be in the forecast to be able to cancel.
What is your cancellation policy?
- We issue full refunds of deposits no later than 5 days prior to your party date, any cancellations with the 5 day window will be forfeited by the customer.
Are the bouncers cleaned and sanitized?
Yes, All Epic Service bouncers are thoroughly cleaned between each use. We are committed to making sure that your children have a clean, healthy, and safe environment in which to play. In addition to cleaning, we also safety check and troubleshoot all equipment before it goes out to another client. This way, you are always guaranteed a unit that is safe, clean and in good working order.
Can you set up indoors?
Yes, All of our units are able to be set up indoors, space & height permitting. We can also set up in gymnasiums, halls, churches, or any other area that can accommodate the size and height of the bouncer.
Do you deliver to my New Jersey area?
Epic Services delivers to most of New Jersey. Please contact us to see if we service your area.
What time do you deliver and pickup the bouncer?
Rental periods vary depending on your needs. You decide on the specific time you want the bouncer operating and we'll be there between 30 minutes and 3 hours before that start time. Special arrangements can be made if you need to leave by a certain time, just let us know.
Do you set up in parks?
Yes, Please be aware of your electrical needs. Most parks do not provide electrical or water sources. We only provide generators for electrical power at an additional cost of $75 per generator.There are noisy but can make a bouncer work in remote areas without electrical hookup. Also, make sure that any/all permits
required are obtained in advance since some park services require for bouncer rentals, check your parks rules and regulations.
Does it need electricity? How much does it use?
Yes, We will bring 50’ or 100' extension cords with us, so all you'll need is an outlet within reach of the set up area. Any standard electrical outlet more than 100’ from the game is hard on the unit and requires an electrical source (i.e. generator) within 100’ of the unit (NJ LAW).
Can I keep the inflatable overnight?
Yes, Only if the unit is not rented the following day. The inflatable must be set up in a backyard or an area that is secured. Please be aware, the customer is responsible for the safety of the bouncer while it is in their possession. Epic Services reserves the right to deny any event of this service. Epic Services also reserves the right to cancel the over night portion of any event at any time if we have reason to believe that our property is at risk of injury, theft, animal damaging or scheduling conflict.
Can we pickup the bouncer ourselves?
No. unfortunately,our liability insurance that we carry does not permit unauthorized set up or moving of our equipment.
